	Cardiovascular Fitness Center Our state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Fitness Center features more than 25 stations designed for maximum aerobic-conditioning and cardiovascular workout results. Stairmaster climbers, NordicTrac cross-country ski simulators, LifeCycle stationary bikes, Concept II rowers and Life Fitness brand treadmills are just some of the things you'll find in our fully air-conditioned conveniently laid-out cardio facility.
Strength Training Center Several complete lines of strength training equipment are available for members in our spacious two-room Strength Training center. Two complete circuits from CYBEX, the nation's leading manufacturer of dual-motion conditioning equipment are the most recent additions to the Strength Training Center, which also features a complete Nautilus circuit, BodyMaster apparatus', and a separate, fully outfitted free weight room.
	Indoor Pool Members of the Newark Y enjoy the health and recreation benefits of our heated indoor swimming pool as one of their membership benefits. Four lanes wide and 25 yards long, the pool is a popular choice among members for such fun and healthy activities as lap swimming, aqua aerobics, family recreational swimming, and, of course, the Y's top quality swim classes for children and adults.
Other Facilities Other features of our downtown facility that are available for our members use include two full court gymnasiums which are available for basketball, volleyball and a variety of other recreational activities. We also offer two racquetball courts and one squash court, all of which can be reserved in advance for member use.
Clean, Attractive Men's & Women's Locker Rooms There are several locker room options available to Newark Y members... all of them clean, comfortable, and meticulously maintained. Depending on the type of membership, members can enjoy such amenities as sauna, steam room, whirlpool, television lounges, private workout areas, and free kit storage baskets.
