LODGINGLinwood MacDonald YMCA Retreat Center offers a wide variety of comfortable lodging options for guests. Each can be rented separately for smaller groups or 200 participants from one program can utilize the space. Our friend staff clean daily ensuring an easy, fun stay for all. Linwwod offers a variety of outdoor premeire facilities including our pavillioln which has a capacity of 250 with electricity and lighting. Guests may also utilize our Amphitheater which has seating for 300 and is the perfect location of our outdoor celebrations including baptisms, weddings and keynote addresses. In 2004 Linwood MacDonald replaced our lakeside campfire circle through bench donations from staff, alumni, Board Members and local community groups. These handcrafted wooden benches now offer a magical location for evening campfire programs. Percy Smith Lodge: Percy Smith Lodge, our primary lodging building, has accommodations for 96 people on two levels. Each level consists of two wings with three bedrooms and a bath, and a large centrally located meeting room. This comfortable lodge features fireplaces, a kitchenette on the top level and fitness equipment on the bottom level. The top level had hard wood floors and the lower level is carpeted. Percy Smith Lodge is available for rental year round as it is fully heated. ("Percy Smith Lodge is great, our group enjoyed the modern bathrooms and the meeting space was a great hang out at night. It was clean and the staff were always there to help. We would highly recommend Linwood to any group!". -2005 School Group Teacher) Heritage Hall: The accommodations in the lower level of the Dining Hall feature four quests rooms, two bathrooms and a large meeting space with an outside view. Heritage Hall accommodates up to 28 participants. The area is carpeted and the sleeping quarters/bathrooms are arranged so that it may be split to accommodate male and female separate sides. Completely renovated in 2004 this area offers a wonderful atmosphere for groups to enjoy. Heritage Hall may be rented throughout the year as it is fully heated and offers a small kitchenette for group use. ("We loved staying in Heritage Hall, it is conveniently located and suited our needs perfectly." - 2005 Retreat Guest) Warm Weather Cabins: Our four secluded cabins overlooking Rooke Lake can accommodate twenty-four guests each. Our cabins offer a rustic alternative for those who enjoy nature with the comforts of home. Each cabin has electricity and two bathrooms with hot and cold running water.
