New Climbing Tower

Linwood MacDonald is proud to announce that a new climbing tower will be ready for adventures for the 2006 season. This 28-foot climbing experience will be a great addition to our program offerings. "We are so blessed with this donation," said Anne Thornton, former Executive Director, "Teambuilding is one our biggest program offerings and this tower will allow us to enhance everyone's experience here." The tower is located just outside the dining hall. Great things are happening!

New Environmental Education Building

Linwood MacDonald YMCA is proud to announce that through a private donation we constructed a new environmental education building this past fall. Once the space is completed, the log cabin-style building will be used to concentrate our program efforts on continuing to enhance our environmental education offerings. We have also received an extensive birding library which will be housed in our center. We are thrilled to be able to offer new programming in a premiere location at camp.
