The Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira. Capoeira is the Brazilian art and game of dance and self-defense. Capoeira provides students with experiences of community and self-awareness. Classes are taught by Saman Dashti (Professor Macaco) and Jana Burton (Monitoria Amazonas) of Grupo Liberdade de Capoeira; the first Capoeira group in New Jersey was founded by Robson Ribeiro (Mestre Cigano.)
