The New Jersey Partnership for Healthy Kids-Newark is presenting a "Community Round-Up" at the Newark Museum on Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 from 5pm- 8pm. Community partners will receive an update of what has been taking place within the Partnership and find out how to participate as we kick-off the next steps of our childhood obesity prevention project. In New Jersey, 31 YMCAs with 49 branches have launched a cooperative program called “My Y is Every Y.” Y members are welcome to visit participating facilities at no cost. “This program is an unprecedented step in strengthening the Ys impact on health and wellness in New Jersey,” said Michael Bright, President & CEO of The Newark YMCA.
