International Week Celebration at the YMCA at UMDNJ
The YMCA at UMDNJ partnered with The Office of International Service to celebrate International Education Week during the week of November 14th. In this celebration highlighting the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide, the YMCA at UMDNJ offered many activities from a variety of cultures. On November 15, 2011, the Y held Global Fitness Day, providing classes such as Belly Dance, Bollywood, and Yoga and offering international food, such as a special asian pasta salad. More than 50 community members participated in the week's activities.

Families Get a Jump on Summer!
Healthy Kids Day brought fun and fitness to 450 kids of all ages: children climbed our inflatable rock wall, jumped in the pool, or joined a Zumba class. Adults had tons of fun, too! Spin classes, a dunk tank and prizes topped the list. Congressman Donald Payne Jr. and City Council Members Darrin Sharif and Anibal Ramos Jr. were on board to show support for Youth Development and Healthy Living.
