Board members, staff, and volunteers celebrated a new milestone in the Newark YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign: $73,413.08 raised in just one month! Dozens of campaigners gathered at the Y to share stories and inspiration.
Donations ranging from $1.50 to more than $10,000 made this the most successful campaign in recent years. One hundred and eighty-eight people made contributions to help ensure that the Y is available to those who need our programs and services most.
The Newark YMCA is deeply grateful to all who have supported the Strong Kids Campaign. Your generosity will send city kids to summer camp, provide swimming lessons to children, support youth sports programs to those without financial resources and so much more.
