Overnight Summer Camp

Overnight Camp at Camp Linwood MacDonald provides endless opportunities to try new things, build & strengthen friendships, reach for new goals, and become more caring, responsible, respectful and honest. 

Get outdoors to breathe clean, clear mountain air; be physically active and reduce stress. 

Ignite new passions by engaging in an abundance of traditional and unique camp activities.

Our pristine natural environment feeds our sense of wonder as we swim in clear waters, gaze at the star filled night sky, trek through mountain forests, run and jump through seemingly endless grassy fields, and learn about the animals and plants that share our environment.  

Overnight Camp combines traditional camp FUN, Friendship Building, and Adventure.

Rates & Scholarships

• No one who comes to Camp Linwood MacDonald pays the real cost of camp.
• Real cost per camper per week is $ 1,300.00 - Due to generous support we are able to reduce the fees for ALL Campers.  
• Fees charged for one week per camper per week is $ 660
• A $ 40 deposit per camper per week is due upon registration 
• Remaining fees are due by June 1st. 
• You may complete the Scholarship Application following Registration and payment of the deposit.  It is found in the Camper Health Profile with other important forms for Camp attendance. 

At Camp Linwood MacDonald YMCA we believe that every child deserves a summer camp experience regardless of a family's ability to pay!

• We see the positive impact summer camp has on a child's life and we encourage families to apply for scholarship assistance.
• Our Scholarship Fund is supported by individuals, the M & T Weiner Foundation, the Victoria Foundation, the Community Foundation: Edward & Edith Parker Fund, Y-USA’s Strategic Initiatives Fund, and the Fresh Air Fund.
• Family income, size and other circumstances are considered when awarding scholarships on a sliding scale basis.
• Apply for scholarship assistance after you have registered and paid the deposit.  The scholarship application form is located in your camper's Health Profile.  Once the Scholarship Application Form is completed, the Camp Staff will review and inform you of the scholarship award amount.

Camp Activities We Pack So Much FUN into each and every minute - our campers never want to leave! No matter your interest, you are sure to find something you'll love at Camp Linwood MacDonald. Our highly trained program facilitators will walk you through our wide variety of activities. Whether you are a novice or an expert outdoorsman, our activities are fun for all. Popular activities include: Archery(Recurve & Compound), Hatchet Throwing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Swimming, Nature Discovery,  Sports & Athletics, Climbing Tower, Flying Squirrel, Challenge Course, 700ft+ Zipline, Arts & Crafts, Tie Dye, Team Building, Campfire & Outdoor Cooking, Singing & Dance, and so much more!  Activity List
