The Succeed Program is a grant-funded, community-based alternative to detention designed to support adjudicated youth ages 13–17. Participants must be referred by the Hudson County Courts. The program operates Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. providing a safe and structured environment during critical after-school and evening hours. Program Goals
- Decrease recidivism rate in teenagers
- Serve as a safe haven for inner city youth
- Ensure youth attend court appearances and report to probation
- Provide programming during high crime hours (3 pm-9 pm)
- Minimize risk taking and delinquent behaviors during and post program participation
- Expose inner city youth cultural activities
- Assist in family reunification process
- Provide mentors/caring adults to program participants

Our YES Program is funded by Hudson County Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Children and Youth Services, and Youth Services Commission.
