Adopt A Room
Extended Stay Adopt A Room Initiative
Make difference in the life of an underemployed person, veteran, or aging out youth.
What does it mean to adopt a room?
The Extended Stay Adopt A Room initiative is a bedroom remodeling project where the Newark YMCA offers companies, organizations and families the opportunity to decorate a room in our facility for a underemployed person.
Financial contributions are accepted with the intention of Adopting A Room. The Newark YMCA Housing Team will decorate a room in your honor and a plaque will hang on the room door displaying your name.
What is the impact of adopting a room?
The initiative will be a gift that keeps on giving, each client who resides in this room will be met with the love of your family, church, or organization as they find themselves in a period of transition.
