Donald M. Payne, Sr. Community Room
On July 7, 2017 the Newark YMCA dedicated a community room to the late Congressman Donald M. Payne, Sr. Congressman Payne was a board member of the Newark YMCA and the first African American President of the National Council of YMCA's.
The Payne Community Room is a flexible, fully accessible venue for meetings, workshops, and special events. It comfortably accommodates up to 75 people seated at tables, with a variety of setup options to suit your occasion.
