The Newark YMCA provides ideal lodging for students, seasonal workers, retirees, international visitors, under employed people, SSI/SSD recipients, honorably discharged veterans, re-entry population or anyone seeking comfortable, safe and affordable housing.

The YMCA of Newark offers Single Occupancy Housing, Double Occupancy Housing, and College Student Style Housing.
VASH Program
Housing opportunity under DCA (Department of Community Affairs) which provides housing for homeless veterans. The VASH (Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing) Program’s objective is to serve honorably discharged homeless veterans in need of supportive housing in New Jersey and provide supportive services to assist veterans in remaining stably housed.
