Newark YMCA to begin reopening on September 8, 2020

We are excited to begin reopening the Newark YMCA's Membership and Program operations.  We will do so in phases, beginning with the reopening of the Fitness Center for Cardio and Strength Training Workouts on Tuesday, September 8th.

Membership Payments & Freezes.  All YMCA Memberships were "frozen" on March 16th. Your membership will be reactivated when you contact us to do so or upon your entrance to the YMCA to begin using the facilities again.

Credits -  Some members are due a credit for membership fee payments made in advance.  We are completing a complete review of each and every account to calculate credits due. In some cases this may result in an extension of your membership anniversary or a delay in monthly drafts or payments due. Information about the status of your membership may be obtained by calling 973-624-8900 ext 6892 or at the Welcome Center Desk beginning September 8th.

Fees Due - If you do not have a credit, please pay your Membership Fees prior to or upon entering the YMCA when you return for the first time.

Continued "Freeze" -  If you wish to continue to "freeze" your membership until a future date, you do not have to do anything.  Your membership will remain frozen and unusable until you contact us to reactivate it.
