THRIVE
The Youth Emergency Service (YES) Program offers 24-hour, safe, supervised, supportive residence for youth ages 13-17
in crisis. The maximum number of youth the YES Program can house is 19. Teens are provided with a room, nutrition, and transportation services.
Youth enter the YES Program through direct referrals from the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P) or the Youth Service Commission (YSC).
YMCA staff assist youth in completing daily activities and completing goals during their stay.
The YES Program partners with agencies, to connect youth with the following services:
- Individual & Group Counseling
- Referrals for Specialized Services
- Linkages to Medical & Educational Resources
- Ongoing Support Towards Self-Sufficiency
- Group Outings
Our mission is to provide a safe and supervised environment for youth in crisis along with comprehensive services that will enhance the quality of life of displaced youths.
