COVID-19 Update

Dear YMCA Members and Community at Large,

As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, it is important that we continue to implement practices and strategies to minimize the spread of this highly contagious virus. 

As you may know, Gov. Murphy issued a daily curfew for New Jersey from 8:00pm – 5:00am. Also, a request/order that casinos, restaurants, movie theaters, bars, and gyms (such as the Y) shut down beginning at 8:00p today until further notice. To support known practices of Social Distancing, the Newark YMCA membership and program services will remain closed until further notice.  

This information can change depending on the COVID-19 developments. I strongly encourage you to continue to check our website for updates as well as our social media pages.

Please continue to be careful and use good judgement.
