31st Annual Leaders & Legends Recognition & Scholarship Dinner

WOW! 200 friends and supporters of the YMCA of Newark & Vicinity joined together at NJ Performing Arts Center the evening of October 29th for the 31st Annual Leaders and Legends Recognition and Scholarship Dinner.
Seven area high students received scholarships in support of their collegiate journeys and achievement of their dreams.
Four outstanding community Leaders and Legends were recognized for their accomplishments and contributions.
Celia King was awarded the Violet King Henry Pioneer Award.
Modia "Mo" Butler received the Sir George Williams Founders Award.
William Michael Barbee was honored with the Robert "Bob" Wilson Trailblazer Award.
Audible was recognized with the YMCA's Corporate Engagement Award of Excellence with Aisha Glover accepting the award on Audible's behalf.
